NEWS MECHANICALLY-ASSISTED OFFICE MAXTOR Brownbuilt has developed a system to mechanically-assist Brownbuilt Office Maxtor units, both for new units and as a retrofit to existing systems. This positive-drive mechanism is not as susceptible to wear as friction-drive systems. August 2005 ROLLED UPRIGHT COVER PANEL Brownbuilt has released a new dress panel design that can be utilised on both static and mobile shelving to cover the shelf clip perforations in the upright. This allows standard, rubber upright buffers to be fitted to the rolled posts for Maxtor Mobile Storage installations. The drawer is also fitted with a finger-grip handle for ease of operation. The new roll-out storage drawers have been designed with a channel-shaped divider, which can be specified to create compartments within the drawer, running front-to-rear. The storage drawers can be converted to store Data or Audio Compact Discs with a kit comprising moulded extrusions that are fitted into the bottom of the drawer.
